Annual Tourmakeady & Partry to Knock Outing!
The Annual Tourmakeady and Partry Knock Outing will take place on Friday 5th June 2026.
Bus leaving O’Toole’s at 9.45am sharp! (pick up in Partry if needed)
Mass at Knock Shrine at 11.45am.
Lunch afterwards at Caife le Chéile on the grounds of the Shrine.
Cost is €30 per person.

Tuar Mhic Éadaigh Ambush Monument Unveiling Celebration!
All members of the public are cordially invited to attend the Tourmakeady Ambush Celebrations happening Sunday 3rd May at Srah Bridge from 6:00pm where a monument to honour all those who took part in the Tourmakeady Ambush 105 years ago in 1921 will be unveiled.
The celebrations will continue afterwards at Halla Thuar Mhic Éadaigh.

Tuar Mhic Éadaigh UNESCO Global Geopark Award Celebration!
Join us at Halla Thuar Mhic Éadaigh Saturday 25th April between 2-5pm to celebrate the great achievement of Joyce Country and Western Lakes being awarded UNESCO Geopark Status. The first Geopark in a Gaeltacht area to achieve this status!

☘️ St. Patrick's Day Parade, Tuar Mhic Éadaigh ☘️
You are all invited to take part in the local St. Patrick's Day Parade in Tourmakeady!
The Parade will start at 11:30 am on Tuesday the 17th after Mass in the local St. Mary's Church Tourmakeady
This is a FREE event so please come celebrate and support local the community!
The parade will conclude at the Halla where there will be tea, coffee and light refreshments

The Makers Market, Tuar Mhic Éadaigh
An indoor market in the Mayo Gaeltacht area of Tourmakeady. Featuring a diverse mix of handcrafted, homemade, home-grown, and locally produced wares.The market reflects the creativity, skills, and traditions of the area, with everything from artisan foods, natural skincare and crafts to unique fresh designs and locally made gifts. Entry is FREE!
Commencing 7th February 2026 11am - 3pm, and the 1st Saturday every month thereafter.
